This is the road leading to Xaraighat as seen on 5th January 2008



Same place on 2nd March 2008.
All the trees have been cut to make way for the 4 lane highway.
Is it justified............when plenty of space is available nearby, to destroy the natural beauty of the place in the name of development ?

What a close observasion !
Yes that is a tragic fact now , see just within 2 months complete scenario is changed. This is now a global problem. we are paying compensate for what we are doing. hatet epawa sñ LdahrN , Efbar AîubacIt ÌwahaqIt Aañ fyar Ocrr Qaf ebart brxuN nhelf| . Almost all over Assam has similar situation. even whole country is running in a drought like condition. Dont know what condition we have to face in near future.
